My new backyard
« on: November 14, 2017, 01:11:33 PM »

After about 8 months of looking, my wife and I finally found a new home.  Here is a quick shot of my new backyard.  The stream (Cincinnati Creek, in Barneveld, NY) gets stocked with about 3000 browns in the spring, about 1 mile downstream from the house.  The spot on West Canada CreekI posted about in Sept. Is less than a 10min drive.  20 minutes west is a lake with a good smallmouth and pike fishery, Altmar is about 40 minutes passed that, and there is loads of wild brook trout steams and ponds to the NE in the ADKs  Should be plenty of water to explore over the coming years.

Very cool! Sure beats Stoughton. What is the cement or rock object by the river?

Sounds like a great place, just keep the pizza box out of the oven!
Looks like a great spot to park my new motorhome
