Uncle ... and meeting Ginclear
« on: December 03, 2017, 05:38:48 PM »

27 degrees, ice in the guides and few LL's to be found today.  One tug but no hook up, one hooked and lost, none landed and only saw 3 very lethargic, tired looking LLs in 5 hours of fishing from the upper gravel beds and pools all the way down to where the river emptied into the res..  Time to call the LL season for me.

Slightly melancholy, but was nice to officially meet Ginclear, his wife and son on the river!

Great to meet you as well, Jay!

We fished that section were we saw you with zero action. We then moved to the adjacent river 5 minutes away and had no luck there as well. Felt good to get out, though, on nice day.

bummer to hear about the skunk. But to be completely honest, I've in awe of how well the action has been for you guys even up to recent.
