I have a canoe with stabilizers and a boat, I believe that there is a horsepower limit there, not sure if we can tilt the engine and just use a trolling motor

I don't know the technicalities of every body of water in the state but ive seen a sparkle boats with the motors trimmed up and the prop removed on some places with HP restrictions.

So is the leader board an annual thing, or continuous?  Move the threee winners to a 2013 winners circle and start again?

I'll leave that to everyone. I figured a continuous run would be a little more interesting. That way you could post a 5 lbs largemouth and potentially be the man to beat 3 - 4 years later type of thing.

ok ok you're probably not the only one....

If the fish can be caught in New England waters regularly (Largemouth Bass, Northen Pike, Blue Gills, Rainbow trout, etc.) Then New England caught fish are the only fish eligible for that category. So basically, I would hate someones amazing 6lbs Largemouth cape bass to be trumped by someone who caught a 19 pounder in Mexico.

HOWEVER... since Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit etc. cannot be REGULARLY caught in New England waters - it's still okay to post, but I won't be differentiating Bonefish caught from Florida from ones caught in Belize.
How about an Amur Pike vs your Northern Pike?

The basic reason for this rule is some regional areas outside of new England produce larger fish of that species, so I don't want to make it unfair. A 6lbs largemouth on the fly in new england should be something that would top the leader board for a while.

Can you catch bonefish in new england?  Like barnstable or something?

I thought it was New England only? :lol
I guess the rules are applicable to everyone but Shakey. I don't fly fish enough in New England to find those Bonefish either lol, but some of the Non New England fish that I encountered ...
