Inspired by the Snot Goblin video. It's been 2 months since the hooks were in the vice...

Thanks, Matt & Ryan! They're a bit to sparse in the mid-section for my liking, but will probably work fine for the pond bass. I need to get some beefier zonker strips (these were tied with micro bunny zonker strips) and loose one of the three beads at the articulation.

Enjoy your vacas next week!

I know visually the mid section looks sparse, but I think that will allow it move like crazy,.

One more...didn't want you guys to think I was slacking on my tying.

This is a bluegill/pumpkinseed imitation.  Currently, with a single articualtion.  5/0 round bend worm hook in the rear, and a medium articulation shank for the head. All bucktail, with peacock herl over the top.  Bucktail was tied in standard deceiver like fashion...except the front half had a two sections tied in hollow style in order to build up the profile to be fat like a sunfish.

I'm debating on adding a front hook/second articulation point.

Do you cup the front at all?

I still need to tie up those damn wiggle things I posted a while ago. I haven't had anytime to tie at all.

I have a serious obsession with tying jig like flies for bass.

Ever time I get good one in the vise...it sucks on the water.

Sooooo....here's another one lol.  Stands up on its nose, passed the sink test.
